We will meet at around 1800 hours at the LORD WARGRAVE
40-42 Brendon Street, London. W1H 5HE (on the corner of Crawford Place)
The nearest tube is Edgware Road (6-7 minutes walk). Marble Arch is 12 minutes away.
At around 8pm we will dine at the Patogh Persian restaurant or one of the other middle-eastern restaurants in the area.

You can also meet your fellow Woodies at our Thursday Club social outings - see below.

Gang meet-ups are open to all Woodies and new attendees are welcomed.
If you attend alone, let us know and we will endeavour to ensure you are made to feel one of the group.
For those who have restricted mobility, warn us in advance and we will ensure a place is saved for you at each destination.
Arrangements for payment for any meal will be decided before ordering to avoid embarrassment.

If you don't see details here a week before the last Thursday of the month, you can email talesfromthewoods@gmail.com for more information.

TALES FROM THE WOODS THURSDAY CLUB AND SUNDAY CLUB
Our Thursday Club events are social outings held on a weekday (usually Thursday as the name implies, but where the situation demands,
on other days of the week) where you can meet up with fellow Woodies. It may be a visit to a museum or a stately home, a walk in the countryside
or a visit to an urban nature reserve, or a pub crawl. We may start off or end the day in a reasonably priced eating house.
We also arrange weekend outings - usually on Sundays - to places of interest or special events.

Events are usually in London or the surrounding areas but we are open to suggestions for other destinations.
